PADI Night Diver Specialist

During the night diver specialist course we’ll look at how to plan a night diver. One of the most important considerations when planning night dives is TIME. A night dive has to be performed during the hours of darkness, some people forget to check what time the sun is due to set! We’ll look at procedures for buoyancy control, navigation and communication. We’ll cover different types of torches and buddy system techniques, disorientation and emergency procedures and also how to locate nocturnal aquatic life.

Experience required: Open Water Certification or equivalent.

Equipment required: Full diving equipment

Requirements: Sign medical waiver, + show proof of qualification. Minimum age 14 years.

Qualification attainable: PADI Speciality Course recognition (credit

towards Advanced Open Water/Master Scuba Diver)
