PADI Digital Underwater Photography Course
– Level 1
The PADI digital Underwater Photography Specialty course is designed to be an introduction to basic underwater photography and to help divers develop the skills, knowledge and practical techniques necessary to enjoy this interesting activity. The course is in two parts. Level one covers digital photographic theory including depth of field, aperture, lighting and composition and preparation of the camera. The practical element covers safe entry and exit with a camera, testing and using the camera, measurement and adjustment of white balance and taking photographs without external flash. The practical dive(s) on level one will be conducted in a heated swimming pool.

Experience required: Open Water Certification or equivalent.
Equipment required: Scuba kit for pool + digital camera
Requirements: Sign medical waiver, + show proof of qualification. Minimum age 15 years.
Qualification attainable: PADI U/W photography level 1
Not included in course fee: Course manual (which can be supplied by us), camera
system, transportation from Anglesey Divers to swimming pool, kit hire
