The Discover Scuba Diving programme is designed to permit participants to experience Scuba Diving under the direct supervision of a qualified PADI instructor. The purpose of the Discover Scuba Diving programme is to create a safe and enjoyable experience in ideal conditions. The programme requires participants to demonstrate mastery of specific information, concepts and Scuba skills before proceeding with the open water Scuba Dive. Knowledge and skills are developed by taking participants through a performance based training session in the ideal confines of a swimming pool. Once these skills have been successfully achieved, the participants are invited to take part in the thrilling experience of an open water Scuba dive.
Prerequisite certification: None
Minimum age: 12 years
Requirements: Complete Discover Scuba Diving statement
Equipment required: None - all equipment supplied for use on the course
Certification achieved: Ability to dive with a qualified instructor on Open Water Scuba Dives up to 2 weeks after course Completion.
